Enter the Fairy
Enter the Fairy is my ongoing webcomic featuring Ernest “The Fairy” Blame, a 1930’s action hero in the vein of The Saint or Bulldog Drummond, but gay. The 1930’s are interesting backdrop for a gay action comic as it was both a time of a budding gay culture and blackmail and other crimes against gay people resulting from the official outlawing of homosexuality.
My comics are inspired by the adventure stories I read as a young boy, but I have endeavored to give them a gay twist. In the Fairy comics I hope to create awareness of how gay life was like.
